This guitar was HAND BUILT by Joe Knaggs of the PRS Private Stock Custom Shop for a very dear friend of Paul's. In fact the owner of this guitar brought me his copy of the PRS book and inscribed in the front cover from Paul to him was the following: Randy, Your unsurpassed work ethic, dedication, care, steadfast belief and impact on this dream, this book and PRS guitars is deeply appreciated...Paul Reed Smith. The only Lefty Dragon that was ever made and the only Lefty Dragon that ever will be made..... Straight from Paul. This guitar is also featured in the PRS book scanning 3 pages as a foldout on page 75. You can't ask for better documentation than that!! Note the "Hanging Dragon" on the Fret board, another very interesting nuance attached to this incredibly mysterious guitar. "The Dragon III combines a 438 piece Dragon Inlay of Gold, Red and Green Abalone, Mother of Pearl, Mammoth Ivory and Stone with our best woods. It features a select Mahogany back with a beautiful carved Maple top, 22 Frets, the PRS Stop-tail, Dragon pickups, a Wide-Fat neck and Gold hardware. The Dragon III is a work of art and a joy to play. Our most collectable instrument."
