Originally born in 1956 as a Gretsch 6189 Streamliner and later converted to a 6120 Eddie Cochran style, this USA-made guitar is one smokin' player and has all the vintage vibe and feel you could ask for. Many upgrades have been made to the guitar to make it the best playing guitar it can be. These include a custom made Lollar P-90 pickup in the neck position and a dynasonic-style pickup in the bridge position made by the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop. The truss rod cover has also been changed to read "Eddie Cochran" and the clear pickguard was added. The Bigsby B6CB vibrato tailpiece, two volume, one tone and  master volume controls round out the customizations nicely. Other stock features include a spruce top with maple back and sides and a two piece maple neck with a rosewood fretboard. This is a lot of guitar at an unbeatable price and at the price of the lesser-quality Japanese import Gretsch's, which would you rather own? Western Maple Stain finish. Padded gig bag included. Weight: 6 lbs 10.2 oz
