Here we have a very cool piece. Below is the description from the Greenwich Village Custom Guitar website on this exact guitar. The only change from the original description is it now has a 5 way switch installed where it was originally a 3 way. This guitar is very interesting, and I'll let the pics speak for themselves in the "Mojo" department! This one is built around one of the coolest bodies I have ever seen, a vintage handmade, 1 piece solid mahogany body that is absolutely feather light. The whole guitar is less than 6.5 pounds, with Trem! The paint is nitro, it's old, it's funky as hell, it has mexican love notes written on it, and I have not touched the patina. This guitar was apparently owned and played for 25 years by a homeless fellow in LA. Thats the only info I have on the body. The neck and the rest of the goodies are GVCG all the way. The neck is a huge rosewood slab, in a circa '63 Med. C profile, heavily rolled edges, Dunlop 6105 Med. Jumbo frets, vintage 7.25" radius, and it's finished in paper thin nitro. The back of the neck has a patina of a 45 year old guitar, I have worked very, very hard at recreating this feel, and this baby has it.The pickups are a superb set of Lollar '63 style, custom wound to my specs with minimal potting with pure Beeswax, this guitar rivals if not surpasses the sound of any of it's vintage counterparts, period. It is so light, so snappy and resposive that it's difficult to put down! The pots are CTS, it has a CRL 3 way with a NOS 50's spring for that beefy feel the new switches do not have, aged "Greenguard", all cloth wire, the plastic parts I smooth to feel and appear worn, every screw and detail is gone over meticulously. The tuners are reissue Kluson's, the nut is aged Tusk, it is set up for .010's with nice low action, the trem block is cold rolled steel, the bridge is American Reissue, the saddles are geezed up with Gun Grease, the trem is balanced like butter, and she's ready to rumble.
