SOLD Paul Reed Smith 1985 Pre-Standard SOLD

This guitar was specially made for Dave Amato as a personal gift from Paul Reed Smith. Extra special care was put into this one and the woods selected, especially the Jet Black Brazilian rosewood fretboard.  The buckle rash on the back was done by Ted Nugent’s belt buckle when he played it during a gig and was part of Dave’s collection for a long time. Considering there are only 428 1985 PRS guitars ever made and fewer than a handful made in Seafoam Green, this guitar is incredibly rare and a fantastic piece of PRS history. It features a mahogany body and neck, Brazilian rosewood fretboard, abalone moon inlays, 24 frets, Standard Treble and Standard Bass pickups, PRS Tremolo System, Schaller/PRS locking tuners and low friction nut. Seafoam Green finish. Hardshell case included.
