This guitar is the 100th and last of the initial run of McCarty's signed by Ted McCarty on the back plate. All the woods on this guitar were hand picked by Paul Reed Smith. It has a killer wide flamed Maple top, Mahogany back and sides, Brazilian Rosewood fret board, 2 McCarty Pickups, Mini Schaller tuners for improves resonance and sustain, PRS Stop tail piece, Bird Inlays. Ted McCarty was the man responsible for many of the Gibson guitars still made today including the Les Paul, Flying V, Explorer, SG etc... These original guitars remain the most sought after guitars in the world! Here is a piece of history signed by the man himself! The McCarty prototype. This is the one of very few McCarty's in the run of 100 that has bird Inlays, most had moons!
