Clay Evans began working at PRS in 1986 as the National Sales Manager, and his influence within the company helped it to grow and expand to become the well known and respected guitar company we know today. In 1989 he was promoted to Vice President and attracted the industries best talent to join PRS guitars , and so many PRS fans owe him thanks for helping the company to find the manpower to produce countless high quality instruments - and for getting a PRS guitar in Back to the Future II. 

In 1991 he was promoted to President of PRS Guitars, and during his years there, while making PRS one of the biggest and most respected guitar companies out there, he acquired some of the most desirable PRS Guitars ever made. In his unique position he was able to procure many prototype guitars, one-off guitars, and extremely low serial number guitars (such as the second Santana One - the first Santana One is owned by PRS and hangs on display)  that were simply not available to the general public. 

 Now Clay has decided to sell some of his collection, and these guitars are being made available to the collectible guitar market for the first time. The great thing about these guitars is that while they were cared for by Clay, they were never actually played by him, because he himself is not a guitarist, although he could be described as an enthusiast. This means that all of these guitars are completely devoid of pick /nail scratches, dents, smudges, wear, or cracks, and since many of these guitars were prototypes and low serial numbers, they were built to impress and are of the highest quality.
