First introduced way back in 1975, the JC-120 Jazz Chorus is one of the few guitar amps that can truly be called a legend. Roland’s long-standing flagship is universally recognized by pros as the benchmark in clean guitar sound, and its rich tone and famous built-in stereo chorus effect have been heard on countless popular songs over its long history. Now celebrating 40 years of continuous production and counting, the JC-120 remains the undisputed “king of clean,” and the enduring choice of serious guitarists everywhere.
There are workhorses and then there are workhorses, and this bad boy has been through the ringer. A faithful gigging amp for over 20 years, this Roland JC-120 has been beat up, dropped, broken, repaired, and still just keeps on rocking. The knobs are a little scratchy and the speakers are not the original Celestions the JC is known for, but at its heart, this JC-120 is all legend. Perfect for practice spaces, gigging players, or any other application where volume and features are more important than aesthetics and purity of tone.
In-store pickup only.
Legendary JC tone
120w of solid state thunder
Aftermarket Celestion G12M-70 speakers
Severe cosmetic wear makes the amp look COOL
Terrible Condition, but IT DOES WORK. It sounds like a Roland Jazz Chorus. It's not perfect, but it still cooks. Also, the price is less than half of what these amps normally go for, so how great does it really have to be. The speakers aren't original, but they're Celestions. The knobs are a bit crackly, but if you don't move them during the song, does it really matter? At least all the knobs DO something. At its core, this amp is a badass, loud, reliable amp. It just looks like it's been through hell because it probably has.
