This 1969 Marshall Major 200w amp head is simply a monster. With 200 watts of British tube power, the Major was the amp that drove the huge sounds of arena rock through the late 60's and early 70's. Notably played by Mick Ronson (David Bowie), and Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple), the Marshall Major has pure iconic Marshall tone... with 100 watts more than the average Plexi head. This amp is a formidable beast that can only be tamed by the bravest of rock n roll die hards.
This amp was recently cleaned, re-tubed, and refurbished by an experienced professional amp repair technician. It's loaded with KT88 output tubes, ECC83 preamp tubes, and one ECC82 tube.
