A workingman's Tele for the player on a budget that doesn't sacrifice killer tone. This flat-top USA-made Tele has been upgraded with a Seymour Duncan 59 humbucker installed in the neck position, and a Seymour Duncan Little 59 in the bridge. There is a 3-position coil tap switch that rests between the volume and tone knobs, which only controls the neck position pickup. In the up position, the switch activates the humbucker mode, while the lower position is a coil tap for single coil tones. The middle position on the coil tap switch acts as a kill switch on the neck. The coil tap switch doesn't seem to be wired to the bridge position. This electronics upgrade gives this guitar a tonal advantage over your average Tele, making it perfect for everything from rock, to blues, funk, indie, and more.
Other notable features of this Tele include a fat 50's style neck, Fender closed back tuners, ashtray bridge, Maple neck, Maple fretboard, and chrome knobs.
